I hook up the jumper cables to jumpstart my 1993 968 cabriolet. I open the door to the 968 and then the stock car alarm started beeping. Really loud. I turned the ignition and she fired right up. But the alarm keeps going off.



How can I stop/reset the alarm?

If the alarm was armed, normally you wouldn't be able to open the door with the outside handle or start the car. It sounds like something either needs to be reset or the alarm box is glitched. Try disconnecting the battery for several minutes, then make sure the battery is fully charged and then connect it up again.

just disconnect battery and reconnect it . that should do it
