As stated by a 993 driver "You simply have to keep that throttle down to regain control".
Looks to me as if he clipped the apex while lifting off the throttle. The front of the GT3 is very light and at that speed while the front end is lifted the back will step out. Counter steer and apply gas with the RR's and you stand a better chance of regaining control. Counter w/o gas and it will snap.
Not as much my words as they are friends of mine w/ RR cars.
PS. If you do a search on that track you will find that that section of track is prone to accidents, even by the pros. So perhaps he had no biz approaching that climb near the top of 4th.

But as mentioned RR is rear engine rear wheel drive. That being said I'm sure all the others will make sense.

There was the comment that it didn't look that fast. The top of 3rd in our cars is 87mph (Well, I'm not chipped yet) this guy was in 4th! I'm betting he was in the triple digits when the slide commenced.
how are you figuring his speed?
Gearing.
He exits the tight corner in 2nd revs up, pushes 3rd, revs up pulls 4th mid rev and eases off on the climb. No way mid 4th in a GT3 is 60mph
