The rings look good. Which ones did you use?

Hi,
The rings in the instrument cluster are from a local vendor here in The Netherlands (cost €50,-), the trim piece arround the radio comes from jagerengineering, and it sits there to complete the Alu look (sill trims, gear lever knob and the radio)
Cheers,
Rutger
oh and the knob on the far right is for adjusting the hight of the main beams.....
yup - ROW thing - kind of cool, though a whole extra motor up there to deal with
are there laws that require adjustments from place to place or frequently or something that would dictate such a control?
There are no laws and such concerning the operation of this system, the beams should be on the correct hight when the "knob" is set to "0"(starting point). If I remeber correctly the system was designed to keep the beams on the same hight, even when the car is carrying a heavy load (the beams would otherwise point on a higher level i.e. it could blind up-coming traffic)
Regards,
Rutger
My 951 cab has that height adjustment feature also, but my other car (US spec) does not.
Rutger, I noticed one of your top-opening handles in the center console cubby. Does your 968 not have holders for the handles in the center console tray? My 951 cab has this feature, but the US car does not.
Kind of nice, since I don't keep anything in there and this way the handles are always where I can find them. I keep them in the glove compartment in the S2 cab.
Hi,
The center console cubby is partly "ocupied" by an alarm device which spreads a kind of radar bubble in the car, in case some knut tries to enter the car via the hood <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
automatically? now that would be cool - wonder how they do that? is it constantly adjusting as the suspension goes up and down?
having cut my fingers plenty of times on those stupid little wheels, while adjusting the headlights, it would be a nice feature, even if it wasn't automatic
Flash,
The system does not work automatically, you have to adjust the hight of the beams by turning the little wheel on the center console, there are 3 ways of adjustment (+1, -1 and -2)
