So...
I decided I'm keeping my car for a very long time. As it is my daily driver(nearly an hour a day) you start to realize some things that are wrong with the interior and how you can change them. As being my daily driver, interior at the moment is more important that engine(I don't do events or race). Most of you are familiar with jageng.com either buying some of their products of at least seeing their website. I really want to have the leather wrapped dashboard and center console. Has anyone done this and have any advice? I really think those two things alone could really transform the car into a much much nicer car. There's not many cars that have that option(most cost about 50k+).
Thoughts? Not worth the time/money? Great idea but no one has done it? I'm concerned about how hard it will be to do.

There's the link for pictures and more information.
I actually also plan on getting some aluminum knobs from them, new dash trim kit, clock, maybe gauge bezel rings in matte black, so practically all of it. So comments on the company itself and other products are also welcome.
Thanks!
I tried using the search and didn't come up with anything.

A replacement dash would obviously be the easiest but probably not cheap. I'm assuming with at this price there is a lot of fitting and installing myself. Which might be a problem for my handiness. I know at a certain price you get what you pay for. I definitely don't want something cheap looking.
Anyone done this or something similar?

My rings for the cluster are on their way to Sweden via mail and maybe they'll give a hint or two about the general quality level.

Oddly, for the dashboard at least it is the exact same pictures as jageng.com. Same price to. Any experience with this company? I'm assuming it's the exact same product. I guess it would make sense to buy all from jager engineering since i'm getting other products from them anyways.
firefish- please let me know what you think as that is one of the products I am looking at getting. What color did you get the rings?

Ahh... Thanks for the clarification aslet. Adds up a bit more but it should come out pretty well. I just looked at the DIY for the dash removal. Even though people have said it's not as daunting as it looks, it seems pretty intense. I'm going to see how much it will cost for a shop to do it and gauge how much my time is worth.

I've been having a tough time deciding whether to do a leather wrap on my dash or replace it with a dash in better condition. I haven't seen any pictures of the 928 Leather dash cover other than the one on their website. Does anyone have any?

Marazas- that dash looks fantastic. I would pay that much for that. I would have to see if he could do something for the 968.
I really feel that this is what is stopping the car from being in the "luxury sports car" class. Of course some may or may not be going for that. I don't track it so I feel that this would be me. Thinking about maintenance now has me worried. The interior of the coupe stays pretty clean. At least clean enough between the two week clean. If you are already cleaning the seats, why not just add the dash? Luckily its not a particularly large dash.
If I get it done I'll stop by and show you flash.

Now that guy is the BOMB. Talk about quality work.... I would love to turn him loose on my car. Unfortunately, I need a place to live and the cars too small.
