You coming down to California Speedway for the Speed Festival the end of March? Anyone else going? I'll be there for the Time Trial.

Nope. It looks fun and I know a couple guys from up here are going. I'm running an 8 hour race in Portland on 3/17 - it would have been too quick a turn around for me.

In two weeks. Don't scare me, I have enough to get done! C'mon down, the race is from 12 to 8 on Saturday, 3/17. The track is easy to find if you haven't been there.

Those race videos are intense. Thanks for posting. What does a new set of Bridgestone S0-3's look like after

a race, I wonder... All that darting in and out, late braking, and jockeying for position.

the track is actually safer, right? Anyone have statistics on track vs. highway safety? I need something

encouraging while comtemplating DE this summer.

Looks like the forcast calls for rain this weekend, doh. Here's hoping the hotels by the track will have rooms available for friday night <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

There are lots of hotels in the area. We are staying at the Days Inn just across I-5 from the track. There is Best Western right there too and some more hotels in Jantzen Beach (one exit north of the track).
