John Bowe is a very well know v8 race car driver. He has driven a lot of different cars over his career and has high praise for the 968.
...without a doubt they are the best-handling, most nicely-balanced track car I’ve ever driven. By that I mean as a drive there, take your spare wheel out, take your Esky out and get-into-it vehicle, they are great, especially compared to a 911 on a track – those cars can bite!
Who says 968s can't be competitive against more modern cars? I think They are amazingly competitive against modern Porsches of similar power, with the exception of modern gt3s and cup cars that are designed as race cars from the outset.
