After you remove the first nut, the wiper blade should slide off. It might come off a little hard because it is toothed and the pressure of the wiper blade spring tends to put a torque on the shaft. Just give it a good wiggle. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

First, after I remove the plastic cover and the first nut off of the wiper shaft do I have to remove the wiper arm? If so, how is that done? Also, if I don't remove the wiper arm I assume that I need to use some narrow pliers or open-ended wrenches to remove it (I say this because my open ended wrenches were too wide to fit between the wiper arm and the glass.) Thanks for you help.
