Porsche crest shift cap group buy
#1

Would anyone be interested in a group buy for this? They add that special something to the interior of our cars. I have one in mine right now (pictured). I can make these if anyone is interested. The Porsche crest is a legally purchased, official Porsche crest purchased at the dealership. If anyone is interested in a group buy, I can get a discount if I purchase a number of them. It will take me a few days to make them into shift caps.

Let me know. Not looking to make a dime and run -- have been on Rennlist for 8 years -- some of you may know me as "Matt O." -- just trying to offer something for our cars that you will A ) not find anywhere else and B ) really is an outstanding upgrade for the stock shift knob.

Very nice. I think that's a great touch ! I have a different shifter in mine, but for the stock shifters, IMO, this improves the appearance 100% .

You actually let some valet kid drive your 968?? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Never!

Seriously though, thanks for the compliment DS. It really does look better in person, installed on a Porsche. Can't believe how good it turned out.

I'm a valet kid when I'm away at school (23 y/o student). My 92 968 is nearly perfect. It is nicer than 99% of the cars i park, but I treat every single one with the same respect I treat my own.

Please don't tell me you took that comment personally...

Anyway... group buy would be 5 or more caps. Keep PMing me if interested. 10 would be even less.

Take it personally...hardly. Just making a point. If you work in any service industry you hear it all the time.

i was having no philisophical problem valeting my car (it's just a car), until i made so many changes - now, i just can't see the guy gettting out of the driveway safely (car too low, stalling from aluminum flywheel, etc)

i did have them do me the favor of moving my seat and screwing up my phone charger by running over it - why do they move the seat anyway? they aren't going anywhere - deal with it - pain in the butt to get it right again with the factory seats in these cars

anyway, to the caps - i wonder how long that would last - any such cap i have had inthe past has worn pretty quickly - also, i'm trying to delete all logos - bad enough i had to put one on the steering wheel (looked too blank wihout something there) adding one is just not on my list

i would really like just a simple unadorned black leather knob - leather on top - no cap - no logo - nothing

you and your obsession with the stealth look <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ! I'm going to superglue a Yugo logo to your trunk at the next meeting, that'll teach you to disrespect our crest <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

As for the valet or car wash guys driving the car - not an issue ... .EXCEPT FOR MOVING THE SEAT <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/mad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ( and it's not as if I don't tell them in advance.. ) -

THIS DRIVES ME NUTS !!!
