Anybody down for this Sunday, July 28? It starts at 8:00 am at Pavilions, 563 Pavilions Lane, Sacramento, CA 95825. At 10:30 much of the group will drive up to <b>Deep Brewing</b> in Auburn, 13395 New Airport Rd. This will put us closer to Reno, if you folks do not feel like driving all of the way into Sacramento. Biosurfer and I will be at Paviliions and also drive to Auburn.

Hey Sam,

 

That's a possibility. What time do you expect to be in Auburn? The car is almost back together (new radiator hoses, cooling fan switch, thermostat, radiator, alternator to starter cable, ignition to starter cable, ignition to alternator cable, I rotated the air in the tires, replaced the rubber bushings on the steering rack and about 20 of those goofy zip-tie connectors that mount on posts). The ONLY part that is holding things up is the cap that goes over the port that cools the turbo on the 951 radiator. If Porsche gets it in Friday or Saturday, it should be ready to go.

 

And it all started with a temp gauge that was bouncing and making me nervous after the last trip to Sac...

Not going to make it, car is still refusing to run. After replacing the alternator to starter wire and the ignition to alternator and ignition to starter wires, now she will not start. She turns over fast, but there is no spark. I also replaced the radiator hoses and radiator, the thermostat and the fan switch, and the O2 sensor with a Bosch universal one.

 

Any ideas? Since I was working around the distributor replacing one of the hoses, I was wondering if the hall sensor might not have appreciated having its wires moved around.
