RHD is a lot of fun to drive once you get used to shifting with your left hand. That was a Tip, so all you have to do is point it and try to not clip anything with the left fender.

They sure are, I find it really odd shifting with my right hand, and driving a lefty on right hand roads is a real pain

If this was Wayne Carini's place I wouldn't buy a dime for a penny from him.

One time (on a trip to Ireland) I drove a RHD manual transmission car for a week or so. It was strange being on that side of the car, on the left-hand side of the road and shifting left-handed.

The shifting got easier, but reminding oneself to drive on the other side of the road from your normal routine was very hard and, at times, the driving was terrifying because some streets were so narrow. But I'd do it again!

My biggest problem was hitting the wipers instead of the turn signal.

Yes!  I thought I was the only one with this problem.  We took a family vacation in New Zealand in 2014, and while I adapted pretty quickly to driving on the left side of the road, I was constantly turning the wipers on by mistake for at least the first five days!

I only had that problem after driving a forklift for 4 months in a row before coming home and driving my car, just trying to move forward or reverse....

With RHD cars my biggest thing was shifting gears, I constantly got stuck with my hand in the door....it takes a few times to adapt.

I didn't realize it was legal to register/drive a RHD car in the US...

If a car is not made for the US market, it has to be 25 years old to import.

My mechanic just bought and registered a RHD Land Rover Defender.

In fact he's still running it with the UK plates.

Turn signal stalk is on the left side as usual. Yesterday, I drove it for awhile and my wife drove it home. She plans to use it on a PCA tour next month.

Well, since all 968s meet that criteria now,  import away !!    B)    So no “ federalization “ modifications required ?    Just the taxes the State will assess on the car ?
