Miles are supposedly less than 30K, which is confirmed by CarFax, but we all know those can be misleading...



This 968 has bounced around a good bit; IL to AZ to UT to FL...



Not sure yet who is selling it... dealer or owner...



No indication of mechanical service, but i have an email in, so we will see...



Its already bid to nearly $17K, but I could see $18K if it is really as clean as it appears...



The seller wants $22,500.00 As advertised locally (and it is so advertised!)



Anyone on the Forums want me to do a PPI? I'm about 2 hours away, and would do it for a tank of gas for my SUV... or maybe less if I'm really bored! If no one here wants it, I may jump on the bidding just to see what happens! Sort of like having "Bookends" Black Coupe and Red Cab...???

I did get in touch with the seller...

Not a dealer; 2nd owner... has put about 5K miles on it in the past 3 years.

Claims new T & B Belts and 30K service when he purchased it, and knew enough to have the Balance Shaft Belt tension checked at 2K miles...

May have been a paint issue with the DS front Fender, with the 1st owner. Seller says he is not sure, but "something looks funny"... Note no direct photos of that fender in the listing. I will probably go look at it, but me thinks it is going to sell for about the Buy It Now price... Not hard to get rid of a low mileage, Guards Red Porsche!!!

I've been in touch with this guy as well. His story is that the car was purchased by a retired gentleman in AZ who fell ill shortly after getting it (hence the low miles). The current owner then bought it a number of years ago (when the original gentleman passed away, and his family sold the car) and could not drive it much himself because he was in snow country (i.e. Utah, etc.). He says that the car is all original, except that he had the A/C switched to the newer system. Other than that, the car is stock (down to the original porsche cd head unit). He says that the very first thing he did when he got the car was to have all the belts replaced (a smart move).



It looks like its in really good shape, and I, for one (being in the market for a red/tan 6sp 968 cab), would love to see what another forum member thinks.



The "funny" thing with the fender is news to me. That would definitely be something that I would love to see some more feedback on.
