My Coupe has had a rear bumperette delete performed on it by a previous owner. The holes were filled and painted to match and it was a very good job. I'm going back to stock and will be making my rear bumper cover available for sale. You'd have to have it painted (it needs painted anyway due to some scrapes and some cracks in the paint) and not sure about shipping but just tossing it out there.

Yes, I actually prefer the ugly stock look! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> If I don't have a picture, I'll take a couple and either e-mail or post them up.It looks like there's something missing without them there. Now, If you could fill out and round the entire bumper cover including the license plate mounting area similar to what they've done on more recent cars, then I'd consider a different and/or modified look.

Those bumperettes have saved the bumper on our white car a couple of times, I also like the stock look so they are staying.

After I removed the front bumperettes in favor of the euro lenses I didn't like the "unbalanced" look of having just the rear bumperettes so I removed them and made this insert panel from plexi that mounts to the existing brackets and bolts. To be honest I would have to disassemble it to give more details as I really do not remember how I did it.....sorry.
