The GT Purely Porsche Nov. '08 Feature article - "Porsches Finest" "60 Years of the greatest Road Cars" - sadly has no photos of the 968. But the story by Stuart Gallager refers to the 968 as the "model that had replaced the 944". Stuart was speaking of the end of all the front engine Porsche in 1995, with the passing of 928 and the 968. He relates to the tough times Porsche was facing at the time. Then he notes and I quote: "The real travesty with the axing of the 968 was that it had flourished into one of the greatest driver's cars of our time."
Recoginition long in coming ... but nice to see in print in a story that speaks about all the fine machine in these 60 years. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
