So I'm looking at the PPI for a 968 I'm seriously considering purchasing, and am curious to hear what the severity of these items are.
1. Dash molding loose at emergency flasher switch(not the end of the world to me)
2. One of the 3rd brake light bulbs is out(968engineering, here I come)
3. Oil lines to oil cooler are leaking.
4. Oil pan gasket is leaking.
5. Right front sway bar bushing is swollen from said oil leak.
6. Both front control A-arms are slightly loose at ball joint.
7. Needs front brake pads and rotors before long, rears at 50%.
8. Rear window wiper doesn't work.
9. Glove box lock missing(PO has an extra one, just needs rekeyed, the glove box works fine, and if I can't lock it, it's not the end of the world).
10. Both door panels are weathered at top.
11. Both sunvisors don't stay up all the way.
Compression test results were:
1. 195 2. 190 3. 185 4. 190
(almost identical to what the car tested several years prior, when the PO bought the car)
So 3 through 6 are really the only ones that I'm questionable about. The rest is no big deal.
The rest of the maintenance(clutch(including the master cylinder, slave, and high pressure line), belts/rollers, etc) has been done recently.
