Special THANKS to Precision Motorsports Racing and RS Barn
#1

Will from PMR as you know does all the work and setup on my car and Pete from RS Barn has supplied parts to my car.

The unbelievable happened on Friday thanks to Will and Pete, they managed to get me to VIR for an event on Saturday morning when it just looked totally hopeless.

My car was meant to be tuned on Thursday afternoon by Will's tuner, Will had just installed a Firehawk Head and Pete's latest cam's after a leak down test by Will showed that 3 cylinders were loosing power.

So Will did the engine work and we were all set to go or so the 4 people who test drove the car thought, including me.

However as the car is started a few days later to go on the dyno the Vario cam goes, we could not believe it. So Will calls Pete to see if he has one laying around which he does, so Pete offers to go with Will on Friday to install the vario cam and a new oil release valve that Will managed to get from Porsche by Friday AM.

Will and Pete worked till late Friday night to get the engine work done and get me ready to leave for VIR.

I got there at 2 AM and was on on the track at 8:30 AM, I was not tired though due to the great feeling I had of being at VIR thanks to the 2 "super hero's".

THANK YOU so much Guy's, you both went way out of your way to help me and see me get to the event. I cannot believe what they both did for me and how well they did it too. Even though there was not time for the dyno tune the car ran great using the old tune.

These 2 Guy's are the best around and I totally recommend using both of them and their products.

Pete, it was a pleasure to finally meet you, thank you so much

Here's the proof of their work, my best lap

Thanks for posting the awesome video!

It is great to see what our cars are capable of in the hands of the right people - mechanics and drivers !!!

Is this a track only car? Would love to see some pictures.

A suggestion for Pete. Get a testimonials section!

This experience deserves better then a few days of bumps just to end up buried and lost on this forum.

Great job and as usual, good deeds don't go unnoticed.

Great video! VIR looks like an awesome track. What all have you had done to your car? Did the cams give a noticeable bump in power?

I was also at VIR and can testify to the wonderful work and glowing reports re Will and Pete. Gary has a race car, I have a street car (both, of course, 968s). Seeing Gary's video - and you're right, VIR is a magnificent track - certainly helps me understand what I did that was good, and maybe not so good. At least we exited the Oak Tree turn at about the same speed. I'm getting there, Gary!

Pete also helped me get my car ready for this event, and I also have nothing but good things to say.

Great video.

Thanks for the post, its nice when deeds like this are shared for everyone to know.

Kudos to all involved!

Pete, as David suggested a testimonials section on your website could be the deciding factor between you and another vendor.

You know I always recommend you!

I posted some event pics in the driver ed section.

The car is a dedicated track car but with the PS2's on it's almost street legal (no CAT), I sometimes do take my kid's out for a local drive.

Thanks, VIR is now my favourite track (was WGI), the track is technically challenging and has a great atmosphere about it.

The car has Cross coilovers, Racers Edge control arms and bushings, Precision Motorsports did the install and set-up, it handles great. It has a Sachs sport clutch and RS Barn lightweight flywheel. Precision did the header and custom exhaust.

Precision put in a Guard GT LSD. 6 point cage, 6 point harnesses, Sparco evo seats, Big black brakes, a quick shifter.

Precision installed a Firehawk spec head and Pete's latest cams.

The car pulls well, at least as good as when it was 1st dyno tuned. Precision is going to get it dyno tuned again soon, then it will really be a very drivable and quick track car. I think the cams are really going to come to life after the tune

i'm not a bit surprised that the car works well - pete and will work closely on a lot of things, consult with each other on a lot more, and often are intertwined on projects

When I lived near Red Bank I was willing to hire a car service to pick me up from PMR and drive me home just to have them work on my car. Replaced my pinion gear and did a few tune-ups. When the car failed on the NJ Turnpike on a Saturday [shifter], PMR paid for the towing and did the repair for free. 'Nuff said.
