That was my first car. 1978, blue with t-tops and the tan vinyl targa-like top. 2.3L 4cyl with a stick. Bought it for $350. Fixed it up with my dad. Bored the engine out .3 over. We painted it, fixed the t-tops, etc.
I doubt I'd have either of those cars. While they're extremely nice, I'm more practical. I don't need all that performance. Give me just a piece of that and I'm happy. That's why I was so attracted to the 968. Enough power to make it fun on the roads where you can drive it at 5 to 7 tenths most of the time ad still have a blast.
