Performance or prestige ?

The 2014 Nissan GTR supposedly has a 2.7 second 0-60 time and a 5.1 second 0-100 time. And if you disable the limiter which cuts off your fuel at at a mild-mannered 200 mph, it will go 250 mph. ( let me just take a moment here to say : holy f-ng sh*t !! ) That's in the Bugatti Veyron SS league, but with this key difference : the GTR is less than 1/20 the cost of a Veyron. IMHO, they re both butt-ugly so the question is this : do you spend just under $ 100k or do you spend $ 2 Mil for an identical performance ? I suppose anyone with a discretionary $ 2 mil budget would not be caught dead driving a Nissan , probably no more so than one of us 968ers would be caught dead driving some " ricer car " that may outperform ours, yet it seems a 20X price difference would make any reasonable person think it over.. No ? Ok, maybe not..;-) :-)
