Speaking of 968s, I've got 5 here now...two customers and mine.

What a "sad" sight!

Interesting to see "telephone dial" wheels on a 968. I had hubcaps on my '76 VW Rabbit (my first car) that mimicked those wheels and that is what started my interest in the Porsche brand. I know... everyone has a story, some better than others!

I have a feeling the odo gear must have broken a long time ago. A car can't possibly look that bad in 25K

Rico...it's a little too far away from me and I've got way too much going on this month, otherwise I would.

Dave, I agree, but I've got a 22K mile customer 968 that needs a little TLC, so nothing surprises me at this point. Too bad people don't/won't/can't take care of their stuff!

Seller has amended listing to state that vehicle has salvage title and inconsistency with alignment of some body panels which is obvious in pics of front. If it were a coupe I'd spend a quarter plus shipping. Don't need a cab that bad.

Yeah, there's a bunch of Q&A posted now on the listing and an odometer issue reported on the vehicle report. I'm guessing it's far worse off than any of us originally thought. Still a shame though!

There are three 968's for sale in and around Jax Florida, each for between $2500 and $3300. One has a blown engine, the other two look fairly decent but very high mileage. Wish I had a 4 car garage.

Saw the listings on a Craigslist search.

Thanx for the heads up - if I can have my way they will all be on a transport truck to Charleston SC by the weekend.
