Parade Registration Opens Tomorrow (Mar 3)
#1

Registration for the 2009 Porsche Parade (at Keystone, CO) opens tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3rd.

Use the following link to sign up: https://www.pca.org/paraderegistration/reghome.asp. You do need to login to your PCA.ORG account to register, so be sure to have your user and password info handy. Another note is that you will have to be sure to fill in zeros in any numeric fields for which you have no entry...blank is not the same as zero in this case. Also, all registrations March 3-5 are considered equal, so there's no rush to sign up immediately tomorrow.

As noted in a separate post, a 968 Gathering is being planned, so if you do sign up for Parade, please let me know, and I'll add you to the list.

Go to www.porscheparade2009.com for details on the event. It runs June 29 - July 4.

Hope to see you there!

We shall be there Chris! Will there be any 968 Register Activity at this Parade? I guess we will be parked together in the Porsche Corral, but do you have any plans to get together for dinner on any evening? Looking forward to seeing you and Kathleen again. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

We're looking at doing an evening get-together on the 30th, after the Concours, and if we get several 968s signed up for the Rocky Mtn Natl Park tour on the 4th, we can group them there. And yes, I do expect that we'll be able to park together in the Corral.

Chris,

It is great that you are planning to have a 968 Gathering during Parade. Super that Bob is going too, since he helped host the 968 Gathering at Escape last year.

For all those west coast guys and gals lurking here that cannot drive to the 968 Gathering in Hershey - here is your chance to see a bunch of 968s and chat with owners about modifications and repairs.

I am expecting to soon receive a Tech Sesssion DVD from Tom Charlesworth, which I am planning to show at my Gathering. I asked Tom to also send a copy to Bob - perhaps he can bring it with him to your Gathering.

The initial 3 days of registration does close tonight, but I can tell you that registration will remain open until June 15th. Specific events may sell out (some like autocross and the tours are very close) but you can continue to register for Parade and any of its events that are not yet sold out until then.

oh sure - now you tell me - i was scrambling around trying to "work out" schedules with ayn so we could make this happen (read: yelled back and forth at each other between conference calls) - i could have relaxed?

roflmao - oh well - all done - GOLF!!! woohoo - can't wait to hit a 300yd drive

please thank kathleen again for her help today - that was quite confusing, but she cleared it up straight away

looks like there is still plenty of opportunity for people to get in on this - some of the particular events may be closed, but for what seems to be the first time, the parade will not be limited in registration

that being said, who wants to caravan up? i am dragging my car and think i am leaving on monday, driving non-stop

chris is planning a 968 get-together, and we'd love to see a bunch of you there
