Out for a Drive
#1

East Coast trip this week. In Phila today. Mtg ended early and I decided that I really needed to see the Barn. Met Pete. He was nice enough to interrupt his busy day and show me around. I felt like a kid in a candy store. A few pics to prove that I was there....

Now, to reprioritize those pesky education expenses.....

Thanks Pete. It was a pleasure.

Joe

So Joe,

I thought we agreed your trip to the east was to transport Pete and the Barn here to the left coast. See, we had the site picked and everything. Were you successful?

Eh.... "Barn girls" and "Barn Chicks" just brings visions of some tasteless movies I saw at a stag party once... Something about midgets and donkeys - I repressed most of the memory. Maybe Pete's Pussycats?

Missed you by a day ! I just dropped my car off to Pete on Saturday. I have to say I am very impressed . I know my car is in good hands.

Thanks for showing me around as well Pete ! I enjoyed talking about the history of your toys and the birth of a great shop.

lol - i was going to make a similar observational comment, that perhaps those 2 words should not be strung together without the expectation of it happening

Pete. You should let them in on what your adding when you get the time. There are other racers on this board that, I'm sure, are having a time with those pesky race prepped 951s as well.

I would love to take a drive to the barn. It would only take me about a 1,000+mi and several days to get there. No problem. ;-p
