New rod bearings - need to break in?
#1

I replaced my rod bearings. Do I need to break them in and if so, how do you do that?

Thanks!

Change oil and filter at 500 km. Don't overstress or overload engine during that time (don't track the car or thrash it).

Thanks Eric.

One more question: do I need to run some special oil? Or cheap stuff since it will be replaced after 500 km?
