No start
#1

Drove the 968 about 30 miles yesterday. Got a phone and decided to pull off road to take call. Shut car off. After finishing call, maybe 15 minutes, went to start car and nothing. Not enough to juice to turn engine over. Fortunately I was on a hill. Drove the car for the rest of the day a few short trips with longer time between starts. No problem started each time. Any ideas what I should look for? Next I doubt I will be lucky enough to be on a hill!

Sounds like cables, posts, or Gummy Starter Syndrome. I would start with checking and cleaning the connections, then check the battery.

Maybe it's wise to check for parasitic drain.

I once had a problem similar to you but not in a 968, It turned out that the negative battery strap had broken in half but no one could see it as it had a plastic wrap on it. So the battery was completed drained and I was running on the alternator, once I stopped so did the car.
