I recently had the opportunity to buy a 1995 968 6spd coupe. It was a nice shade of blue with 98K miles and looked great online. I am from Oklahoma but currently stationed in Germany. The car was a two owner US spec. Originally, purchased by an Air Force Officer and later sold to a Gov civilian employee. The owner wanted $15K but my lack of 968 knowledge prevented me from assessing its value. The high maintenance cost deterred me from the purchase. I would like to join this forum to increase my knowledge and hopefully, find a good 968 in the future.

$15k sounds like a reasonable asking price, depending entirely on condition, accessories, etc. That should get you an 8/10 car or better with solid maintenance history.
