Newbie from Minnesota
#1

Hello and thanks for the add. I am relatively new to Porsche, was introduced to the driving experience a friend a few years ago when he let me drive his 968. I wanted one right then and there but I was/am driving an M30 at the time. I purchased a Cayenne a little over a year ago and decided Porsches are like tattoos...you need more than one! In August I came across my 968 Cab. Which I am super happy about and will be immediately retiring the M30. I havent considered myself much of a car girl but I guess I cant deny it now. I would love to learn how to do some basic repairs and maintenance. Hoping all of you wonderful people will be willing to help! Any advice and recommendations are welcome!

And they get under your skin.  But not " Porsches " in general,  only 968s !   B)        ( and maybe 918s  Rolleyes , though not for mere mortals like us..)

Welcome! Glad you found the site. Remember to use the search bar and look for new member advice. Don't let the list intimidate you, there are things that need attention but not all are critical. Also, pay attention to the power top issues and the discussions about disconnecting the motors and using the top in manual mode.

Hi Welcome

with the ammount of help and information on this site, I think you could build a 968 out of a garage of correct parts.
