Subwoofer Baffle Plate
#1

i put a subwoofer in ryker's car. i made a baffle plate out of 3/4" wood. i trimmed it to fit in the left rear wheel well space of a hardtop. only caulking was necessary to seal it up. it works well, and can handle an 8" driver nicely. i had the foresight to make a template of the shape. if i got it scanned full size, i could put it up here. it may be some effort though to get it done, as i am pretty sure that my scanner is not big enough. i don't want to waste my time.

would anybody actually use it?

I'd be up for this, Flash. I have a feeling that even my JL sub in the KLA box is not going to cut it. (My car is currently not running due to an electrical meltdown - hopefully will be fixed soon though).

I can do the scanning and piecing together for you, and make a clean pdf file of the template that folks here can download and print out.
