Need a small part no longer available

Does any one know where I can find the small rubber piece that goes on the top of the fender part # 944-511-485-00 (filler piece) It is a small part and I am sure cheap but no one has any. I have checked alot of sites and all say no longer available. Thanks for any info. Still working on parts for my barn find

If you mean the hood buffer, your best bet is a dismantler - DC Auto perhaps.

Let me look that up.....if it's the soft foam hood stop, then yes NLA and I've only got one. I am in the process of trying to have some made and using this one as a sample.

i found that stuff by length once, many moons ago. i just can't remember where i got it. i think it might have been j.c. whitney. we had to use that to seal off a fiberglass hood. it kept getting air underneath it and lifting.

This is the piece. I see in my records I was able to get one from Sunset back in July of 2010 ($8.64). It would be nice if someone can get a copy made since they are now NLA. Since it's such a special shape, I don't know what one would use for a substitute.

I also need one! So if someone does find it "by length", please advise the rest of us!

In the meantime, I will ask the Purchasing agent here at work to send a request to our supplier of rubber products. Who knows what they may come up with.

Same in Europe , no longer availble , and checked some porsche parts specialist , nope nothing .

Mine are still good , so no help , sorry .
