Take the connector off and see if that turns the light off. If not, try grounding it and see if that makes it go out. If neither of the two make a difference, then you probably have a short somewhere. Hope this helps.

same problem here, but where is the connector ? I do not see anything ( wire, etc ) leading to or from the washer reservoir's top and it looks like you pretty much have to remove a fender <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> to get to any other segment of the reservoir <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/huh.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Im not 100% on the location of the connector, but if you take off the inner fender liner on the passenger side, the resivoir is tucked under there. It might take some feeling around, but it has to be on there somewhere.

was afraid that might be the case..i haven't really looked closely how easy or difficult it is to remove that lining, but given how these cars are put together, sixteen hours of labor to get to a $ 4 part which goes bad

is not uncommon <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/mad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> so chances are ...

You dont really need to remove the whole lining from the car.

Just loosen all the nuts and move the lining around till you can access the pump. Should take less than 45 mins to remove the lining, check the wires, and install the lining.

lol - i'm thinking maybe 20 minutes for the whole job - 3 to jack the car and remove the wheel - 3 to remove the 4 plastic nuts, 2 screws and one nut, and then 4 to wrestle with the thing to get to the one minute fix of the connector - then 10 to put it all back together

oh heck, I'll just drive it to ( insert your choice city or neighborhood here <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> ) leave it on the street

and in three minutes the car will be already jacked up, the tire(s) removed, fender lining and probably

most other "obstacles/parts " of the way, so it should be no more than a 30 second job to get to the connector. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Not to beat you up 426.

This is a simple fix. 1 hour tops.

I just hate when people do things like that.

Oh I will just pull the bulb, I'll get around to fixing it later. It never gets fixed, next owner buys the car and has no idea there is a problem.
