My cams, chain and blocks..pics
#1

Just did the belts and cam cover gaskets on my recently aquired 1994 968 with 49000 miles. Car has been rarely used in the last few years. Maintained with Mobile 1 Special thanks to Dave Greimann for the use of his flywheel lock.

Things appear pretty normal and low wear to me. Comments?

Yeah after years of dealing with worn out 944's and 951's, it's nice to get my hands on a low mileage car for a change. I'll post more about this car in the near future. Kinda a survivor...M030, LSD...SoCal garage queen it's entire life.

orphanowner,

It looks great. I had some issues with my cam gears at pretty low miles.

I am also the individual collecting data for the coupe registry. I am specifically collecting data on rare options (M030). I have an M030 myself, and want to determine how many were really produced.

Could you send me the VIN # interior color and option codes? That would be great!!

Thanks so much.

Graham Rippel.
