I have not YET ( on either car ) . But to answer to your question : it depends on whom you ask. Flash will tell you it can be done without having to remove it ( practically the entire assembly, that is .. ) and just loosening up the bracket bolts , removing a hose here and there should allow you to pull it forward enough for sufficient space to do the job, but you have to realize that flash has a knack for getting into places and fighting things that most mechanics simply are not willing to put up with. My mechanic for example said there is no way he'd either be willing or able to do the job without disassembly and removal of just about everything associated with the SC. But I'm sure flash will chime in with instructions and tips on how you could do that job ...
