FYI on CA Smog Test for Supercharge car

So Today, I brought my car to get smog and of course, the tech would not pass it because there is a kink in the hose on the blow off valve hose (see picture). I guess I'm going to have to cut the hose and get an elbow to fix the problem. Oh well...

You can get the kink out without an elbow, just move the hose and elbow around a little.

you should definitely be able to manipulate that  hose so that it is not kinked.  it looks too close to the elbow.  push it farther toward the outside of the car, which will stretch it and open the kink.

 

you can also put a hose clamp on that spot, and tighten down a bit to force the hose to become round again.

I have hose clamps on mine to fix that issue also.
