This morning I woke up and decided that it's warm enough and the roads are clean enough to take the 968 out for a dirve. The car has not left my garage in about 2 months, but it started without a hitch and was purring beautifully.
First things first...I have not driven the car since I replaced the Hall Sender. I just wanna say WOW!!! I don't have to blip the throttle to get the car going anymore and it pulls beautifully.
Now back on topic...After about 1 kilometer I got to a junction. I drive here everyday with my DD (Nissan Qashqai). I was lucky to get the light green and decided to give just a little extra throttle to power out of the turn. All of a sudden the back just broke loose and before I knew it i was facing the other way!!! Luckily it was quiet and I didn't hit the curb or any other cars. So the car is fine.
So what gives?
- I wasn't going much faster then 20km per hour, and I have taken that corner as hard with the DD, wich is a dog in the handling department.
- It is a wide turn into a boulevard so I did not make any jerky or sudden movements. Just a smooth turn.
- I checked the tire pressure and it is good.
- I have LSD.
- I don't have winter tyres on and it was about 4 degrees Celsius.
I just didn't expect the car to break loose like that, especially since I have driven it way harder in the past.
I am suspecting oil on the road, but maybe someone has other advice?
