We had our annual Annapolis Valley summer tour today. There were about 18 cars (1-944, 1-924, 1-968 (me), 2 Boxster S, 1 Cayman S, 1-928S, 1 Ferrari 348 TB, and the rest various forms of 911s (older Carreras, a slope nose, 993, 996s, 997s). I had the cab - wanted wife to also bring the Cayenne but that didn't work out - and was rather pleased at how it went keeping up with the rest. Wanted to drive the coupe (faster against the 928 and later 911s) but repairs not done yet. Supposed to be a "quiet" drive - so we were told - but I knew the fun would start when the 928S in the lead pulled out of the parking lot like a slingshot - wahoo! Let the good times roll.
