'Monstrous4Banger. You don't realize how much of a blessing humidity is... The humidity actually cools things off People just dont like to sweat. Personally, Id rather sweat, and cool, than the sweat dry before it beads fully. People get bloody noses for a while when they first move here its so dry. Mucous membranes dry out, and crack.
Tough call for me. Having experienced this high humidity along with 100+ degree temps for a couple of weeks now. I'm thinking Dry is better. Didn't know about the nose bleeds. Really highlights how dangerous the heat is to our bodies. But we've had code red air quality for the past few weeks. I'm guessing its even harder to breath in this humidity. Not to mention the fast rate that your body is dumping out water. You dehydrate so quickly. Heat related deaths are rising as we continue to break record highs set way back in the 1940's
But guess what? We had rain yesterday. Man did it feel good.
