I can't remember any problems with it. It is a part that has no faults I believe. I never heard of it anyway. Can you describe your problem?

I would have to believe the symptoms would be a hunting idle. The car might stall when coming to a stop till it is warmed up as well.

If you think the ICV is faulty, you could try and remove it and clean it out with carb cleaner.

When my ICV went, the symptom was that if it would wrap the engine out, and come to a quick stop the engine would choke out. If I gave it a little gas before it died it would stabilize back to idle. Like said before, try cleaning it with some carb/choke cleaner, there is a valve inside it that gets gummed up, and sticks IIRC. Its kind of a pain to get to. I got a couple laying around one probably just needs cleaning and would be fine. I put a new one on.
