I got my 9 Mag in today's mail...
#1

Glad to see 9 Mag went back to a gloss cover. On the shelves at Barnes and noble it must make a big difference. The layout looks much better too. Starting to come around, great job! Also check out page 8... Our Moderator Dave Greimann has a 3 page article on Motor vehicle lubrication with a Part II featured in an upcoming issue. Pretty cool stuff!

Is this the issue with the airbox mod results? Are all Barnes & Nobles going to be carrying it? Flash, any other distribution plans?

eric - thanks for the kind words - it's been a long journey - we are gradually adding gloss back in - the next issue will have at least 4, and likely 8, pages of gloss, in addition to the covers

bruce - it's distributed, as with any magazine, to a distributor, who then sends it to barnes and noble national - they then decide which stores to send it to based on individual store sales - there are only 3 copies sent to each store - there are also a number of independent stores that carry it, but i don't have a list at this time (working on that)

i hope to have the individual copies available, as well as subscriptions on the website by friday - they will all be available in both hard copy and pdf - payment can be by either paypal or credit card (this has been a big struggle)

mitch - this is not the issue with the airbox mods - that one is just about to come out - we're working hard to catch up to schedule

not much - i'm actually trying hard not to have every issue about my car - lol

the missing page of the chip article is there, and that's about it

there is a good feature article by dave greimann, and a cool story (at least i think so) about the l.a. auto show that some of us attended, complete with a funny pic of all of us

Woo hoo! I'm published! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Got mine today.

It was fun and I welcome feedback. Techno articles that appeal to the lay audience are hard to write. Hopefully there is something useful for everyone in there.
