How many 968's do you own?
#1

Topic title is the question. Ds's new purchase prompted the question. And yes we are including cab and coupe combined ownership and even parts cars. Also if one of your cars is not running it can be included. Must actually own the car can't just lust after one!

If for some reason the car is registered in your wife's name or a business you own or control that's fine .

How about if the car is registered in the name of a wife you own or control ? What, we could have 968 members in Afghanistan or some other Taliban hub...

Two. And I understand I might be the only owner of two supercharged 968s on this planet...so far.

I missed the fact that the other one was already supercharged. Neat. So here's our first data point on supercharged 968 purchases, yes? How much did the supercharger factor into your purchase price decision?

The already installed SC was the biggest factor in the purchase decision and the price consideration. I was ( very passively ) looking for a tip to use as a daily driver and planning to eventually supercharge it anyway so this one just made things that much easier.

Just the one. But it's not running and fairly disassembled, so I guess around 3/4 of a 968 currently.

I'm going to skip the " why 8 ?! " question because somehow I can understand that, but it begs this question : why are only the ( and all of them ) three Tip coupes for sale ? What's wrong with the Tip coupe that I should know, now that I just bought one ?

Just the one.

When I mentioned that Dan had bought a 2nd 968, the wife did not even let me continue the conversation by quickly chiming in: "You do NOT need a second "money pit"!
