Hello, firstly thanks to everyone who replies to these forums, they're terrific for us novices and we definitely appreciate the help of the experts!
I have a 1992 with about 112,000 miles on it. It's a 90 degree summer down here (New Zealand) and my AC compressor has given up according to the "best" AC mechanic in town. So I've just received a new one, and got an AC Receiver Drier to go with it. I have booked it into my local AC shop who have said to leave it with them for a "day or two".
Can anyone let me know how long this should typically take to be changed, including putting in new gas etc? I'm just a bit anxious of the "day or two" and what I should be looking at for the labour bill at the end of it!
