How do I stop all the forum emails
#1

I have been trying to figure out how to get rid of all the email notifications from the forum. Is there a switch I can flip to stop the barrage of emails?

Good plan. I had considered this but want to seek a way to turn off the emails first.

I had inadvertently turned on notification of post on a topic. I was recieving emails everytime someone posted to that topic. I turned it off in My Controls.

Ok I figured it out.

1. Go to My Controls -> Subscriptions -> View Topics, I believe this link will work http://www.968forums.com/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=26

2. Then select all subscribed topics by clicking the check box on the header row.

3. Then select "Change to: No Email Notification" in the select box at the bottom.

4. Finally click the "with selected" button.

Then I believe the emails should stop.

pretty sure that's how i did it too - it's been a while now - then, if you choose "fast reply" instead of reply, you need to un-check the "enable email notification" before hitting "add reply"
