#1

I was looking around and someone commented that Design 1 Racing was looking into this... ( a headlight conversion)  If its here I missed it.  So what about this?  Anyone know anything about this conversion.... ?

this one has been covered to death.  use the advanced search feature, but to sum it up, many have tried.  all have failed one way or another.  they always look cobbled together or out of place.  the "double eye" of that one looks wrong for the car.  the flat lens does as well.  the ones that use the 993 lights don't have the proper angle, and so the lighting suffers.

i bailed on the project as soon as i figured out that to get it right, it meant i had to raise the fender profile significantly, which made it look like a 993, and part of the reason i liked the car, was that it did not look like that.

That's what I wanted to know... although I think this headlight system looks pretty rad,  if it works in practice. (thanks for the tip on the advanced search... ).

no wories

i've seen a few of these conversion in person.  they looked a LOT better in the pics than they did when i actually got close to them.  figuring others would feel the same way, i bailed on the project, because i don't do anything halfway
