Headlight conversion
#1

These headlights look like they would fit in our fender and unlike the 993 lights, they are at more of an angle...so the alignment may be right as well. They have projector beams to boot. If only there was a way to get a set of these.

What a nutty looking car. Reminds me of the lunar rover. I like the green paint though.

J.C. it is a one off concept that was built exclusively as a gift to Ferry Porsche for his 80th birthday in 1989. Has a 964 C4 drivetrain. 250HP, AWD. Weighs 3100lbs.

I know Ferry had a soft spot for the 968, and this kinda reflects that, but I don't know... The side fender lines just are off-putting to me. The color is fine (not me, but...), and I quite like the front end... but the fender treatment is just .... ew. IMHO, of course!

Me too. If you ignore the rest of the car, the headlights looks nice, and appear as if they could integrate into the 968's fenders. But you're right, they're probably one-offs.

They would be REALLY cool if they had flush mounted covers...

No way to compare the slope of the fenders to a 968 without a field trip. But it seems to me those headlights are set kindof far back. and you'll note the accomodating shape to the fender from the bottom of the headlamp out to the nose that makes me think of an Alfa Spyder.

If we didn't have to worry about silly things like the wheel wells and the bits currently sitting between them and the existing headlight buckets, we might be able to locate fixed headlights far enough back to make them fit within the slope of the fenders. But if you're doing that much surgery there are other solutions...
