The bypass is simply a work around to override what the manufacture has put in place. Typically there just a few steps laid out in an instructions sheet. E-bayers are cashing in on what someone else figured out and posted for free.
At least that’s true of the Avic’s.

Yeah, I see that now. Tried to do you a favor and get the instruction sheet from a forum and I came across the actual module.

What is the silver knobby thingy on the right of the central locking button? Actually I am noticing many buttons that didn't live there when your car left the factory, or is this a cab thing?
