Whats your favorite car smell
#21

I have to say old German cars have a unique smell. It's funny, I really love the aroma of my 635. The smell brought back many memories of my last L6.

The aroma of the 968 was mich nicer than my 951 (which did not "smell") it was simalar but different.

If the car does not stink, I'd say leave the factory aroma.

Might not be the most popular response here, but my favorite car smell is the aircooled 911 one ahhh...

I never try to manufacture any scent into my cars though. Just clean them good - my typical combo is Lexol on the seats on the 303 on the dash. Meguiars on the seats does smell better, though. And I used the dryer sheet thing years ago in my fancy college car (Cavalier, beby!) and it works.

Who would've thought that after 22 replies and a host of car cleaning products, both new and old, that the most we would get is dryer sheets
