Who has seen these white 968 Tail lights?
#21

So I have to call a dealer in Japan? I don't speak Japanese... Couldn't a US dealer get them?

Maybe I should just get a 928 S4.

Not.

Hi,

Maybe you could find the part no for the Japanese tail lights in PET?

Cheers,

I already checked the PET I got from the Porsche website, and it only has one part number for the tail lights. Maybe the real PET has more info.

Flash, I don't want the faddy clear lights, I want the lights with orange signals and white reverse. I think that would look better on a red car, with more colorfulness.

I have a Corrado buddy in Japan..let me shoot him an email and see what he can find out for us. Historically, he has been very helpful in sourcing rare parts...

Hi,

If you have access to the complete PET CD-Rom, then you will find the original part numbers for the Japanese tail lights, just look for the part numbers marked wit h a " J " (Japan)

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Rutger

Bob,

You sure had a "European" moment over my Yellow foglights. I think they were standard in France. Is there anyone out there in France???? We would trade you some Cheese Steaks.

I seriously would buy a pair of white tailights, is someone still trying to locate these? That is the only thing that I don't like about Guards Red

You could always give your tail lights the "smoked" look. Pretty easy and cheap to do.

If you dont like the smoked look after you do it, new rear lenses are only $175 or so for new ones.
