Thanks to you all for the welcome. I wish the mechanics took payment in red beans or etoufee but, alas. I was pretty well prepared for the costs as years ago I had a 944. I'm actually surprised how different a 968 is from a 944. Also, I agonized over a 911 vs a 968. One day I woke up sure it was to be a 911 and the next day sure it was to be the 968. The beauty and rarity of the 968 won out, and this is a car I plan on keeping.
