I built an enclosure for it that is insulated and with a belt drive you can hardly hear it. I've got 20
acres here so i never gave much thaught about neighbors that must suck! maybe you need to

I remember an interview I saw a few years back on the Meguiar's 'Car Crazy" program with the president of one of the classic car insurance companies. Meguiar asked him what the biggest source of claims was and he said it was stuff falling on cars in garages - mostly bicycles.
