Front Floor Mat Retainer/Strap
#1

Front Floor Mat Retainer/Strap (black). I am missing one on my passenger side. Please let me know if a photo would help.

Thanks,

Andrew

Andrew:

Do you mean the black cloth strap with a silver metal wire on one end, and the black plastic half of the fastener on the other?
I might have an extra as I just put in floormats and found an old one under the seat. I hope I didn't throw it away. Let me know if that's what you need and I'll look around for it.

Bill

I don't think they are sold separately, but you could contact Lloyd's and see if they can supply them. They come as a pair when you purchase Lloyd's mats. That is, of course, if Bill doesn't have one!

A bit OT, but... How do those things attach???!!! I have never found a thread that tells how or where the little metal "T" thingys attach. That's not to say I haven't tried various points.

Andrew:

I found it! Send me an address and I'll drop it in the mail for you.

968Z:

On mine, I squeezed the "T", turned it sideways, and slipped it into the oblong hole in the bottom center of the seat rail, near the end, then turned it 90 degrees. If this doesn't make sense let me know and I'll try and upload a pic, if I can figure out how to do so on this site. (When I click "insert image" above, it asks for a URL. Any tips on posting my own pic rather than one on the net would be appreciated).

Bill,

Use "Add Reply" instead of "Fast Reply" and then "Manage Attachments". This allows you to browse your hard drive.

The "T" part goes into the seat rail aligned lengthwise with the opening and then you twist it 90 degrees so it "hangs on" to the rail.

Thanks. I tried this once before, but it did not seem to fit. I'll give it another shot.
