Yes, many folks have used them to delete the front "bumperettes"...I have not heard of a wiring issue prior to this, many fols say that the fitment is less than perfect.

I got the euro lenses (maybe the 993 ones are different?) and they worked out fine in both fitment and connection. No more warts... I mean bumperettes.

"Fitment less than perfect"? After all this is a 968 so perfect fitment is subjective :-)


My euro lenses had to be slightly shimmed to fit flush. I think one of the purposes of the bumperettes was to avoid needing flush a lighten :-)

Absolutely Jay, the curvature is right, but the ends are not quite right but close enough for the 10 yard test
