Front dash rattle
#1

Hi all, there is a rattling noise from behind the front dash (somewhere above the glove compartment), happens whenever the road gets bumpy. Is there a way to access this area without removing the entire dash? Would I be able to get access by removing the entire glove compartment housing?

Had a garage remove the front dash some months ago to replace the aircon heat exchanger, clearly something wasn't secured properly when re-installing the dash... Hoping for some advice as the noise has been bugging me for months now!

Thank you.

You can remove the glovebox inner part and lid , will give you acces to the parts behind .

The glovebox light and wiring is bit fiddely , remove the light and disconnetc the wire before removing the glovebox , otherwise  you might break it , disconect battery or take the fuse out  , the light allways turns on so it is always live ,
