The outer are fog lights, the inner flash when you pull the stick to flash some one out of a turning to let the go
This is with the head lamps down
They are also driving lights activated with a switch near the fog lights
You can download the drivers manual from
www.pdlibrary.co.uk
Yes dont break them at over $500 each they are a touch on the expensive side, and most of the auxiliary lights are made by Hella
I have 1mm high impact Helicopter tape stuck on mine to help with stone impacts

In the latest price update
944 631 033 00 LH fog lamp $477.00
944 631 034 00 RH fog lamp $477.00
a small front end shunt that requires indicators, fog lamps, and a PU will cost $3000,00 before labour and paint, in this country enough to write the car off for insurance,
here the companies total your car if the repair comes to more than 40% of its trade value,

That is why I have Stated Value insurance on my 968. Here, a total is 80% of the value, but if you consider that the Blue Book on my car is less than $20,000 it wouldn't take much for them to declare a total loss.

There also a low flat interconnection relay in the middle of the fuse box, can’t remember it’s proper name.
but you can spot it easily it’s only about 10mm high, this little thing is country specific there are loads on eBay all different part numbers
you will need the correct Canada one of those as well as the NLA relay
in some countries the driving lights come on with high beam

Not sure if everybody else has the same configuration, but in my 968 which was delivered to the US, the light module has two bulbs. The smaller part of the light housing is the fog lamp which is controlled by the rocker arm switch below the rotary light switch. They are activated by turning the rotary knob to either park lights or headlights and then turning pressing the rocker switch. The other part if the light module houses the driving lights which may be activated any time by pulling the turn indicator stalk back (to flash them) or pushing it forward to high beam. One of the best features of the 968 is that high beam not only uses the main headlights but the driving lights as well. The combined lighting is very effective. My car does not have DRLs.
What I am interested in though is finding the city lights that I can use in my headlights. The holes are in the headlight bucket, so I would just need the proper housing and the wiring to connect them to the park light circuit. The way the hole is mounted near the top of the headlight bucket would allow them to be running while the lights are in the retracted position.
I have city lights on my 911 and really like the look for sunrise or sunset. Has anyone installed them? They were standard issue on UK or Euro spec cars I believe.
