The sun was shining this morning so I dropped 7 litres of ATF in the Transmission and went for a drive. Smooth and quiet. No rattles of any sort.
This took about 20 hours of work, at a leisurely pace, over several weeks. There were delays for parts as some items were special order from Germany. Nothing was too difficult and if you have the time and patience to see it through, along with somewhere to do the work, I'd recommend doing it yourself. Unlike a shop, I was able to take my time and clean and refurbish all the components I worked through, including all the fittings and hoses on the Tiptronic.
